| Axe Hangers Ok, so the axe holders are a bit simple, but sturdily made. Using a stainless steel ring and top-grain leather, I hang my throwing axes from my own custom made belt. They hang so easily that I can draw and throw my Cold Steel Norse Hawks in one fluid motion. It makes for a lightening fast draw that never ceases to amaze me and those that see me throw. No matter how I bend, flex, draw or throw, they remain secure in their holders. I can even run if necessary without worrying about them falling out. |
| Axe Head Covers My axe head covers are made of thick top-grain leather to preserve the edges and help to lessen the impact of your axe heads on each other when you walk or move. Again, no metal parts are used and the covers are ties securely onto the head by means of an oiled leather cord. When the covers are removed, they can be looped over your belt, out of the way and safe until you are done using your axes. Also, the SCA rules state that you may not wear a naked blade at any event. At least, thats what I understand of the SCA safety regulations. This is a great way to display your axes at your side, safely, securely, and in STYLE!!! |
