| Colonial Style Journal/Sketchbook |
| This style is typical of the Colonial era journals that used metal rivets to fasten an independant spine to the journal cover itself. I use screws so that the pages can be replaced when they are all used. That way, you can keep your custom cover and simply screw in a new set of pages. Good idea right?! The 4-5oz light-weight leather allows this book to be used and abused while protecting your pages. This is also the only weight that I can use a concho-closure on as the concho posts are not long enough to use on the heavier "Armored" leather journals. This is an amazingly versatile book. It looks good no matter what you are using it for. Here are a few uses that my customers put it to; 1) Personal Journal 2) Story Book Writing 3) A History of their SCA Personae 4) Bardic Notebook 5) Small Sketchbook 6) Shooting Data Journal 7) Bird Watching Journal 8) General Notebook 9) Gifts for their friends and family The uses for this kind of book are infinite. You're only limited by your imagination my friends. There are many options that you can select for this book to customize it. You can get your choice of screw-back concho-closure, leather color, initials/lettering, and varius paper options as well. Just take a look into the Custom Options section to see all the options. |
