These are great little pocket sized notebooks to carry with you anywhere!! My personal favorite is a Timber Brown, that has been distressed by hand and worked heavily in mink oil. Its so soft that it begs to be touched, yet so sturdy, I kick it around in my leather bag whever I go.
Its made similar to my larger journals, and can be a flap fold over, a flap fold under, or no flap at all. It can be left open at the front so that the cover creates a natural crease over the front of the pages, much like the 'Grail Diary" used in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade!!
Although this notebook is smaller, it is much more difficult to make as the pages have to be cut just right to fit a custom spine. Instead of 3 screws, I use 2 and it holds the spine tightly and perfectly!! Whats really incredible is that the pages are smaller, but that there are 200 of them!!! Of course, the same custom paper options are available as well.
